Job Summary:

DDC IT Services is seeking a Senior DB2 Database Systems Programmer for a remote role. This position does not require IT certifications but candidates must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Plan, install, configure, and implement DB2 for z/OS in a DoD Systems data sharing group following SOP.
• Support Coupling Facility sizing for DB2 structures necessary for Sysplex operation.
• Support group buffer pools during planned or unplanned outages.
• Plan, install, test, and implement DB2 service level upgrades and patches.
• Support DB2 RACF configuration.
• Plan and run REBIND for DB2 service upgrades.
• Use DB2 utilities for backup and recovery of Db2 Subsystem.
• Provide technical assistance to relevant groups.
• Support DoD Cyber Security requirements, ATO preparation, and security audits.
• Experience with government and DoD contracts is a plus.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements (Education/Skills/Experience):

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math, with 7 years' experience in IBM DB2 database software installation and maintenance in a mainframe environment, or
• 10 years' experience in IBM DB2 database software installation and maintenance in a mainframe environment.
