Job summary

Scribe is looking for a Senior Database Reliability Engineer to enhance the reliability, performance, and scalability of its data infrastructure. The engineer will own critical aspects of database management and contribute to the evolution of the CDC pipeline supporting Scribe’s fast-growing operations.

Applicants should possess deep PostgreSQL knowledge and experience with Django ORM. Flexible work arrangements include a hybrid model in San Francisco or fully remote options for PST-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of PostgreSQL and database performance tuning.
• Experience with ORM frameworks in production environments.
• Knowledge in managing CDC pipelines and ensuring data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Own database reliability and incident response for data tier.
• Manage and evolve CDC pipeline from Aurora to data lakes.
• Implement automation and CI checks for database interactions.
