Job summary

A leading support services provider is looking for a Senior Day Support Professional in Billerica. This role involves supervising staff and working directly with individuals with developmental disabilities. Candidates should have a relevant degree, strong communication skills, and CPR certification. Qualifications

• Minimum of one year’s experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Candidate must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR and First Aid certification is a condition of employment.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Day Support Professionals and maintain monthly supervision records.
• Work directly with individuals, providing physical assistance when necessary.
• Oversee ASP/ISP process and participate in skills assessment.
• Assist in training cluster DSPs and monitor staff implementation.
• Help Program Manager with administrative duties.
• Ensure program runs optimally in absence of Program Manager.

Skills

Good written and oral communication skills

Ability to write ISP objectives

Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities

Education

BA/BS in human services, psychology, or related field

Associate’s degree with two years of experience

GED with four years of experience
