Job summary

Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is building the next generation of cloud infrastructure for a globally distributed, multi‑tenant environment. Senior Core Infrastructure Engineer will design and deliver dataplane features in C/C++ across packet processing, routing, NAT, gateways, and security policy enforcement.

You will own features through their lifecycle, troubleshoot Linux and networking problems, and contribute to observability and automation to support production systems at scale.

Qualifications

• Experience designing dataplane features in C/C++ and delivering end‑to‑end software for high‑throughput networking
• Strong background in Linux networking, production issues, and on‑call rotations
• Ability to improve tooling and automation for scalable production environments

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver major dataplane features in C/C++ across packet processing, routing, NAT, gateways, and security policy enforcement
• Own features through design, implementation, testing, rollout, observability and operational support
• Troubleshoot complex Linux and networking problems and participate in production on‑call rotations
• Improve tools and automation used to operate OCI’s virtual networking infrastructure
