Job summary

Dataflow Engineer role at CACI, supporting the Research organization. You will design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, integrate NiFi workflows, and automate data processing with Python/Bash.

This position requires TS/SCI with Polygraph and 7+ years of software engineering experience in a security-focused environment. You will collaborate across teams to improve reliability, security, and performance of data flows, while contributing to lifecycle management and deployment

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI with polygraph
7+ years of software engineering experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or 4+ years of related experience in lieu
Experience with Apache NiFi including provenance and lineage tracking
Proficient with Linux command line and DevOps practices
Experience versioning NiFi flows and integrating them into deployment pipelines
Scripting or programming in Python (preferred) or Bash for automation and data manipulation
Knowledge of dataflow architecture and RAFT, SOTF, CSDF, ASDF data formats

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable, dependable data pipelines
Troubleshoot and resolve dataflow issues with NiFi and related tooling
Improve data processing efficiency through automation and scripting
Support a secure, controlled environment for intelligence data throughout its lifecycle
