Job summary

AMD in Rockdale, Texas is seeking a hands-on Datacenter Infrastructure Engineer to deploy, operate, and scale networks for large-scale compute platforms onsite.

You will collaborate with hardware, software, and operations teams to ensure reliable performance, participate in expansion projects, and document procedures. This role requires a strong troubleshooting mindset and willingness to travel between AMD locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree preferred in a technical field.
• Hands-on infrastructure experience in datacenters.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking.
• Willingness to travel to AMD datacenter locations.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and maintain datacenter network infrastructure.
• Support network connectivity for servers, racks, clusters, and validation environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and networking issues.
• Document configurations and deployment activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable infrastructure.
• Travel to AMD datacenters as needed.
