Job summary

Lumenalta is seeking a Senior Databricks Engineer to design and implement modern cloud data platforms. You will build scalable pipelines using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL, while applying testing, CI/CD, and best practices.

This remote role requires strong collaboration across distributed teams and a focus on governance, security, and repeatable infrastructure as code (Terraform). Experience with Lakehouse components and AWS is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Experience designing end-to-end data platforms in a cloud environment.
• Strong programming experience with Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Delta Lake, and Unity Catalog.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, testing, and Git workflows.
• Terraform or IaC for repeatable environments.
• Excellent communication with distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable enterprise data platforms using Databricks and AWS.
• Architect end-to-end data platform implementations and govern data solutions.
• Develop robust data pipelines with Python, PySpark, and SQL.
• Apply testing, CI/CD, and version control in product delivery.
