Cigna-Evernorth Services Inc. seeks a Database Administration Senior Advisor for the Austin, TX location to provide counsel and advice to top management on significant Database Administration & Management matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.

Hybrid work schedule. Requires Master’s degree with 3 years of DB experience or Bachelor’s with 5 years, plus expertise in Oracle, PostgreSQL, AWS, and SolarWinds Orion. Security compliance and Gen AI experience are valued.

Formación

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field with 3 years of experience in DB administration.
• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of DB admin experience also considered.
• Experience with SolarWinds Orion, AWS, Oracle and PostgreSQL required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and manage the most complex database systems for the organization.
• Coordinate with senior leaders to determine requirements.
• Analyze, design, create and implement complex databases including access methods and security.
• Interpret issues and recommend solutions/best practices.
• Design data models, databases, data dictionaries and schemas.
• Liaise with vendors and external support for upgrades and solutions.
• Review systems under development and related documentation.
• Lead project teams, monitor schedules and costs.
• Provide thought leadership across multiple disciplines.
• Be the go-to person for the most complex DBA assignments.
• Hybrid work schedule.
