Job summary

Leonard Workforce Solutions is seeking an Advanced Database Engineer to design and implement database architectures for defense/IC data. You will deploy, tune, and scale PostgreSQL in Linux, manage data pipelines and ETL, and contribute to mission-grade systems with autonomy.

The role requires 10+ years experience, TS/SCI clearance, and proficiency in SQL, Python, shell scripting, and related RDBMS/NoSQL platforms. ESOP participation and a 9/80 schedule are offered.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required for access to defense data.
• 10+ years in database engineering or related software domains.
• Bachelor/Master/PhD in CS, Data Science, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Design database architecture solutions and implement databases.
• Test with mission data and provide front-line support.
• Maintain and scale enterprise PostgreSQL systems on Linux.
• Develop new features for operational systems and data pipelines.
• Mentor engineers and drive architectural improvements.
