Job summary

Nightwing seeks a seasoned Database Engineer with active TS/SCI clearance and Poly to design and optimize database systems across the full lifecycle. You will develop databases, parsing software, and data loading tools, ensuring security and scalable data architecture in cloud environments.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of DBE work, a technical degree, and strong Oracle experience, with Linux Bash scripting and MongoDB familiarity as pluses.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of database engineering experience in similar scope programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (5 years can substitute for degree).
• Active TS/SCI clearance with Poly required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, store and retrieve data; build and optimize database systems.
• Translate requirements into database schemas and ad hoc queries; manage data flows and security controls.
• Lead database structure development aligned with system architecture and cloud methodologies.
• Direct development of complex database systems and data parsing/loading software.
