Soros Fund Management LLC is seeking a Senior Level Database Engineer to design, build, and manage enterprise data platforms underpinning trading and analytics. The role emphasizes database-first engineering across SQL Server, Snowflake, Databricks, and AWS, with cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices for scalable, secure systems.

You will collaborate with data, application, and platform teams, drive data governance, and optimize performance and reliability while exploring AI database

Qualifications

Experience designing and operating enterprise-grade database platforms.
Migration to AWS/Azure cloud database solutions.
Experience with RDMS like SQL Server, Sybase, DB2.
Experience in trading or investment systems is a plus.

Responsabilités

Design, build, and operate enterprise-grade database platforms focusing on core systems.
Manage performance, scalability, and availability across on-premises and cloud environments.
Implement backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
Collaborate with data and application teams to model and evolve data architectures.
Ensure strong data governance, security, and access controls across platforms.
Develop automation for database provisioning, configuration, and operations.
