Qualifications

• 5+ years of database engineering or administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL/Linux and SQL Server/Windows environments.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, including normalization and indexing.
• Familiarity with data security and integrity practices.
• Experience in a high-volume SaaS database environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Database Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Media space. This role will own the reliability, performance, and scalability of critical database environments that support digital learning experiences at scale. You will partner closely with system engineers and other technical stakeholders to strengthen backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes while improving query efficiency and overall platform stability. The position also plays an important role in protecting private data, anticipating capacity needs, and helping ensure database services remain effective in a high-volume SaaS environment.

Location: Remote

Compensation: $110,000 - $130,000 annually
