MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Database Developer Sr Principal, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of our SOCOM Customer. As a Database Developer you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. You will play a key role in designing and maintaining Database and Business Intelligence application platforms.

Education: Technical training, certification(s), or degree

Experience: 8+ years of related experience

Technical skills:

• Installation, configuration, administration, and management of Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2008R2/2012 and SQL Reporting Services
• Deep understanding of database schema object management, data modeling, and architecture
• Strong SQL and Transact-SQL (T-SQL) experience
• Experience with Hyper-V virtual environments and SQL clustered environments
• Experience with SQL Server replication topologies
• Familiarity with Resource Governor, Tuning Advisor, SQL Profiler, and Windows Reliability and Performance Monitor
• Ability to implement and troubleshoot triggers, views, stored procedures, and data integrity constraints

Security clearance level: TS/SCI

US citizenship required

The likely salary range for this position is $116,813 - $149,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
