Qualifications

• 10+ years of related experience or Master's Degree with 8+ years of experience.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance; eligible for TS/SCI clearance in the future.
• Minimum of 8 years professional experience as a database administrator.
• Experience with data modeling and performance tuning.
• DoD 8570 approved security certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system requirements to develop architecture and technical specifications.
• Provide database engineering leadership for large distributed systems.
• Design and administer databases ensuring normalized schemas.
• Implement and maintain database environments including installations and upgrades.
• Monitor performance, resolve bottlenecks, and validate backups.
