Job summary

Andersen Corporation is seeking a Senior Technical Architect for Database Platforms in Oak Park Heights, MN. You will lead enterprise database architecture, standards, and modernization, working with infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity and product teams to accelerate business outcomes.

The role is hybrid, based out of Oak Park Heights, MN, and requires deep expertise in Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, and cloud database services to ensure secure, scalable data platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum ten years of progressive experience in database engineering, administration, or platform engineering roles.
• Five years leading enterprise-scale database architecture.
• Deep expertise in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Experience with high availability, disaster recovery, backup and recovery, performance optimization, and database security.
• Experience developing technology standards, roadmaps, and architecture documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead database platform strategy and architecture across Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL and cloud services.
• Collaborate with product, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to design scalable solutions.
• Provide guidance through project lifecycles from planning to operation and optimization.
