Job summary

Apogee seeks a Database Administrator SME to support USSTRATCOM across three client-server systems in a classified environment. You will manage Oracle, SQL Server, and PostgreSQL databases within virtualized and cloud contexts, enforcing DoD STIGs and auditing.

Requirements include TS w/SCI eligibility, DoD IA/IAT Level II certification, and 15+ years of experience with 5+ in DoD. Location is Offutt AFB, NE, with on-site work and potential hybrid arrangements.

Qualifications

Must be a US citizen.
Must possess and maintain a TS w/SCI eligibility.
DoD 8140 equivalent to 8570 Information Assurance Technician (IAT) Level II certification.
Certified Database Administrator (Oracle Certified Professional or better).
BA/BS degree in a relevant discipline.
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, 5 in DoD, including RMF/IA controls.

Responsibilities

Manage, maintain, support, and optimize databases for three client-server systems in a classified environment.
Install, configure, patch, and maintain enterprise RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, Postgres) in virtualized/cloud environments.
Implement DoD STIGs, auditing, and security patches to ensure information assurance.
Design, test, and execute automated backup, recovery, and failover strategies.
Collaborate with Systems Engineers to configure secure data gateways and ETL pipelines.
