Qualifications

• Active TS.SCI w FSP through MD required.
• 10+ years of DBA experience required.
• Demonstrable experience with MS SQL Server, MariaDB, and/or Oracle databases.
• DOD 8570.01-M with IAT Level II certification (CCNA-SECURITY, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ or SSCP) or equivalent.
• Experience with index and performance management, backup and recovery.
• Strong communication and ability to work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Learn new skills and contribute to the growth and maturity of database support processes.
• Maintain, patch, and troubleshoot MS SQL Server and MariaDB databases across multiple networks.
• Operate in on-premise and cloud environments; support and optimize backups.
• Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell/Python where possible; think outside the box to find solutions.
• Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to fulfill mission requirements.
