Providence Swedish is seeking a Senior Database Administrator for Cardiology to protect data and ensure seamless data integration across cardiovascular modules and applications. You will develop, maintain and enforce data standards while managing CV databases and generating clinical, quality, and administrative reports.

Description

The Senior Database Administrator for Cardiology is responsible for protecting data as a resource and insuring integration of data across cardiovascular source and software modules. They are responsible for developing, maintaining, supporting and enforcing data standards across all CV modules and applications. Also, they are responsible for ongoing development and management of all CV computerized databases, including the generation of reports for clinical, quality and administrative management purposes.

Required Qualifications:


  • 5 years of clinical terminology and/or clinical information system implementation in a healthcare environment

  • 3 years of working with database structures, data definitions and data relationships.


Preferred Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Health Information Management, Business or Healthcare – related field

  • Upon hire: Certification on the related product or group of products

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
