BTI is currently searching for a Senior Database Administrator to fulfill the roles and responsibilities below:
The DBA will design & develop robust and scalable data architecture that supports data transfers, storage, transformation, and reporting requirements. Work with Business Analysts, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), system owners, customers, and end-users to understand their mission, current architecture, security requirements and deliverables.
Create and maintain data models that facilitate efficient data transfer and storage, ensuring data quality and integrity.
Manage and optimize database systems, including monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting to ensure high availability and performance.
Collaborate with external agencies to establish data transfer processes, APIs, and integration points, ensuring secure and efficient data flow.
Implement data security measures, access controls, and encryption to protect sensitive information during data transfers and storage.
Continuously monitor and optimize data pipelines and databases for improved efficiency and reduced latency.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture, integration processes, and database configurations. Ensure data compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as NIST, FIPS, HIPAA, or others as applicable.
