Job summary

COGENT DATA SOLUTIONS LLC in Austin, TX seeks a Senior Database & Data Warehouse Analyst to lead design, development, and governance of data warehouses and BI reporting.

You will work in a hybrid environment with stakeholders across IT and business, applying DW modeling (star/snowflake), ETL tools, and reporting platforms.

Candidates should have 5+ years of experience with DBMS, Data Warehousing, Business Objects, and data population, delivering reliable analytic solutions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with DBMS, data warehousing, and decision support tools.
• 5+ years building data warehouses and data marts.
• 5+ years using Business Objects and creating data dictionaries.
• 5+ years using database access tools for delivery.
• 5+ years in analysis, planning, and management reporting.
• 5+ years in data warehouse population and modeling (star/snowflake/normalized).
• 5+ years GUI-based ETL tools (Informatica, DataStage) experience.
• 5+ years implementing enterprise databases (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server).
• 5+ years with analytic/reporting tools (Business Objects, Cognos, Hyperion, MicroStrategy).
• 5+ years across DW implementation lifecycle (requirements, modeling, transformation, loading, SQL, tools).
• 5+ years database performance, tuning, security, backup/recovery, DR.
• 5+ years of excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, teamwork, interpersonal skills.
• 5+ years working with stakeholders while managing multiple responsibilities.
• 5+ years with database standards, data integrity, redundancy control, and security.
• Working knowledge of EIR Accessibility standards and assistive tech for DW interfaces.
