Job summary

FastTek Global is seeking a Senior SQL Server SME to support the CEPI SLDS modernization, focusing on data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL development in a complex Microsoft SQL Server environment. You will lead data architecture decisions, coordinate with software teams, and drive cloud-enabled ETL modernization efforts.

The role requires deep expertise in SQL Server, CEDS standards, and data governance, with a focus on scalable, secure data solutions for state education systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server environments.
• Strong understanding of CEPI SLDS data warehouse and CEDS standards.
• Proven ability to design and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and expand data pipelines with ETL processes.
• Analyze and manage data, maintain data dictionaries and models.
• Define database objects using SQL, DDL and control access (DCL).
• Coordinate changes with developers and analysts to ensure data integrity.
• Support migration of ETL processes from on premise to cloud environments.
