Job summary

Collette Travel Service, Inc. is seeking a Senior Data Warehouse Architect to lead enterprise data and analytics initiatives from our Pawtucket HQ. You will design scalable data platforms for reporting, AI, and operational workloads, leveraging Snowflake, Fabric, and Matillion.

The role requires strong data modeling, governance, and leadership of data engineers, with a focus on modern cloud architectures and data pipelines. A strategic, hands-on expert will drive modernization.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related disciplines.
Strong expertise in data modeling, data warehousing, dimensional modeling, and data integration.
Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, Matillion, Azure Data Factory, SQL Server, Power BI.
Strong SQL skills and Python skills.
Experience implementing data governance and data catalogs.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience supporting AI, machine learning, and generative AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development reviews and provide technical guidance on complex data initiatives.
Mentor data engineers, analysts, and architects on best practices, design patterns, and emerging technologies.
Influence technology strategy and vendor evaluations.
Design a scalable, secure data platform supporting enterprise reporting, self-service analytics, AI/ML, and operational workloads.
Establish architectural patterns for data ingestion, transformation, storage, integration, and consumption.
Lead the implementation of modern data solutions leveraging Snowflake, Fabric, and Matillion.
Drive platform modernization and migration from legacy environments.
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise initiatives.
