Job summary

Resolve to Save Lives is seeking a Senior Technical Advisor, Data Use and Decision Science, to bridge complex epidemiology data with strategic action. You will work with in-country teams to create analytics and information products, integrating surveillance with contextual data and supporting two flagship programs.

This full-time remote role spans 24 months with opportunities to build national capacity and influence policy through data-driven insights and cross-partner collaboration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in infectious disease surveillance and analytics.
• Experience designing end-to-end public health information products with clear SOPs.
• Experience delivering capacity-building training for public health professionals.

Responsibilities

• Advance data use products and automated pipelines for decision-making.
• Map systems and needs to prioritize Collaborative Surveillance initiatives.
• Provide mentorship to in-country teams and transfer analytical ownership.
• Train teams on DHIS2, EMS, R, R Markdown, GIS, and data product creation.
• Coordinate country workplans, budgets, and leadership reporting.
• Lead use-case exploration for surveillance innovations and AI applications.
