Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced Technical Data Project Manager to lead multi-team data and technology initiatives from planning through delivery in the Glendale, CA area.

The ideal candidate has extensive Agile project management experience within data/tech environments, managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, and executive-level communications with stakeholders across Product, Data Engineering, and Business teams.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Technical Project Management experience managing complex technology and data-focused initiatives.
• Strong experience working directly with Data Engineering, Data Platform, Analytics, or Data Science teams.
• Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional projects involving multiple technical and business teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with Agile/Scrum, including sprint planning, standups, retrospectives, backlog management, and release planning.
• Strong experience with Jira and Smartsheet for project planning, tracking, reporting, and workflow management.
• Experience with portfolio/roadmap planning, resource capacity planning, and dependency management.
• Ability to manage and report project milestones, risks, issues, blockers, KPIs, and OKRs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with clear status reporting and executive-level presentations.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional data/tech initiatives from planning through delivery.
• Coordinate with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers, and stakeholders.
• Manage multiple workstreams, dependencies, risks, and executive communications.
• Monitor milestones and KPIs, reporting status to leadership.
• Champion Agile practices and drive continuous improvement.
