Job summary

Socket.dev seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support DoD programs by applying systems engineering, data analysis, and rapid visualization. You will develop data products and dashboards to improve access to GFM DI data and system features.

The role requires advanced analytics, DoD platform experience, and the ability to translate operational needs into reliable data solutions. Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Requires MS in Systems Engineering or BS with extensive relevant experience; OR additional engineering discipline with substantial math/Statistics coursework and strong systems engineering background.
• IAT Level II DoD certification; CompTIA Security+ preferred if contract allows.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering to analyze mission needs and coordinate technical solutions across lifecycle stages.
• Data curation: organize and clean raw data feeds into structured datasets for querying and analysis.
• Develop analytical models and business logic to transform data into actionable insights.
• Design interactive dashboards using Qlik, Streamlit, or similar tools to support decision making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and mission partners to capture requirements and validate outputs.
• Develop code, applications, and data products that support GFM DI use cases and DoD data access.
