Qualifications

• This position requires US citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• 7+ years production engineering experience (distributed services or cloud platform preferred).
• Strong automation experience and scripting in bash or Python.
• Solid understanding of Software Engineering and Computer Science principles.
• Solid foundation in Linux Systems Engineering.
• Strong knowledge of Networking, Security and Storage.
• Experience with Docker.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or Ansible).
• Experience in building fully automated CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Hudson, TeamCity, etc).
• Ability to formulate meaningful KPIs and business metrics.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, availability, and customer experience of GoldenGate services.
• Collaborate with software, cloud infrastructure, and customer-facing teams to ensure security and high availability.
• Drive roadmap with a high degree of autonomy and initiative.
• Tackle complex distributed systems challenges and optimize service performance at scale.
• Champion automation to streamline processes and improve service delivery.
