Job summary

BOK Financial Corporation in Richardson, TX seeks a Data Solutions Engineer IV to design, implement, and govern enterprise data solutions across the organization. You will mentor other engineers and influence standards, partnering with analytics, security, and platform teams to deliver trusted, scalable data products.

The role emphasizes building end-to-end data pipelines, establishing dbt and Python/SQL standards, and driving IaC with Terraform to manage Snowflake and cloud infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a data-centric field with 7+ years of data leadership experience.
• Proven experience building scalable data pipelines in production.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise data warehouse concepts and BI solutions.
• Excellent communication and ability to present complex information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and governance of enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Architect data flows from source systems to curated datasets.
• Establish dbt engineering standards and tooling.
• Design Snowflake architecture and optimize performance.
• Define Python/PySpark/SQL standards for data engineering.
• Implement IaC with Terraform to provision Snowflake and cloud infra.
• Develop CI/CD pipelines for data assets.
• Oversee Fivetran connectors and data ingestion SLAs.
• Evaluate new data tools for scalability and security.
• Lead proofs of concept aligning with Snowflake-centric architecture.
• Establish observability and data quality practices.
• Coordinate with security/compliance on governance.
