Job summary

Stripe is seeking a Specialist Solutions Architect focused on data platforms to drive revenue and guide product roadmaps. You will partner with sales and pre-sales teams, translate customer data needs into scalable Stripe data solutions, and mentor teams on complex analytics opportunities.

You will also help design multi-entity and currency reporting, integrate BI tools, and shape reusable assets for the broader organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a technical sales, pre-sales, or solutions architecture role focused on data platforms, analytics, or financial reporting.
• 3+ years hands-on experience with data warehousing and pipeline architecture (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Databricks) and ETL/ELT tooling.
• Strong understanding of how payments and revenue data maps to financial reporting and reconciliation workflows.
• Experience with BI/analytics platforms (Looker, Tableau, Sigma, Metabase).
• Strong knowledge of software engineering and API integration patterns, including data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Act as SME on Stripe's Data products to accelerate opportunities.
• Demonstrate understanding of data warehouses and how they feed financial reporting and BI.
• Conduct deep discovery of customers' data architecture to architect aligned Stripe data solutions.
• Advise on multi-entity and multi-currency reporting, ERP/GL integration, and data freshness requirements.
• Create reusable assets and reference architectures to scale the sales/pre-sales org.
• Partner with Data product sales to drive opportunities for large customers and manage key relationships.
• Serve as Voice of the Customer to influence product roadmap.
• Identify trends and provide insights to product stakeholders and sales.
• Escalation point to drive complex technical issues to resolution with engineering.
• Support marketing events.
