Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Sr Data Solutions Analyst to design SQL/Python pipelines, Snowflake models, and Power BI dashboards powering enterprise FP&A, planning, and budgeting for USRM. You will own the technical vision, translate requirements into scalable data solutions, and collaborate with IT, finance, marketing, and distribution.

The role blends finance and technology; expect mentorship of analysts, front-line data work, and ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on proficiency in SQL and Python with experience building data pipelines or models.
• Experience with Snowflake (or a comparable cloud data warehouse).
• Experience with Power BI (or a comparable BI/reporting tool).
• Experience with SAS and Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain SQL/Python-based data pipelines, models, and dashboards that support enterprise planning, forecasting, and budgeting solutions.
• Own the technical architecture and design decisions for assigned data solutions, from requirements through deployment.
• Manage multiple projects in parallel to implement system enhancements and new enterprise application solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement innovative, data-driven solutions that increase process efficiency.
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications, and validate solutions through testing and user acceptance criteria.
• Mentor junior analysts and contractors, providing technical guidance and code/design review to raise the team’s overall capability.
• Lead continuous improvement efforts across business processes, systems, and reporting infrastructure.
• Prepare and present regular status updates on ongoing projects and solutions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Create and maintain technical and process documentation, and lead end-user training.
• Perform monthly data load and validation activities for book close — develop automated and AI solutions to drive efficiencies.
