Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our Data and Analytics Engineering team in the PL Product/Finance and Vendor Extract space. You will design and maintain scalable data pipelines and data models using AWS and Snowflake, collaborating with product owners and cross-functional teams to deliver robust data solutions.

You will implement data quality, tests, and governance while leveraging CI/CD and AI-assisted tooling to improve speed and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field.
• 5-6 years of experience in data engineering, data analytics, or a related technical role.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, including complex queries, data modeling, and working with relational/analytical databases.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and tools such as Snowflake and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines, data models, and integration processes using cloud technologies (AWS, Snowflake).
• Analyze complex data sets to design flexible, innovative solutions meeting business needs.
• Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Build and support ETL/ELT pipelines from internal and external sources; implement data quality checks and monitoring.
