Job summary

SOSi in Chantilly, VA seeks a Data Scientist to support a government customer. This role is contingent upon contract award and requires active TS/SCI with Poly. You will serve as a key technical resource for advanced statistics, ML model selection, and enterprise data strategy.

Responsibilities include developing AI/ML models for object detection, triage, search and inference, and processing large data volumes within a secure government environment.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
• 7+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency with SQL/PostgreSQL, Python, R, NiFi, and Git.
• Experience with cleaning, managing, and processing large data volumes.
• Experience with ML, statistical modeling, time-series forecasting, and geospatial analytics.
• Experience with Hadoop, Spark, or other parallel storage/computing processes.
• Experience developing AI/ML models for detection, triage, search/optimization, inference and automated discovery.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a key technical resource for advanced statistical methods, ML algorithm selection, and enterprise data strategy.
• Develop and deploy ML models and weights to support object detection, data triage, search and inference.
• Support government customer with data processing and analytics in a TS/SCI environment.
