Job summary

Fusemachines, a global AI solutions provider, seeks a Lead Data Scientist to design and implement data-driven solutions for complex business problems. You will lead a team of data scientists and collaborate with product, software, and analytics stakeholders to deliver impactful AI projects.

The role requires extensive experience in statistical modeling, ML, and data visualization, with hands-on Python development and experience in PyTorch or TensorFlow.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in mathematics, engineering, CS, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in Data Science or ML.
• Strong Python programming skills.
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks PyTorch or TensorFlow.
• Experience with cloud environments AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Experience leading data science teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of data scientists to develop innovative solutions to complex business problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data-driven solutions.
• Assess client needs and identify AI use cases to improve processes or outcomes.
• Design and implement statistical models, ML algorithms, predictive analytics, and agentic systems.
• Communicate technical insights to non-technical stakeholders clearly.
• Stay up-to-date with advances in data science and AI, applying new techniques.
• Mentor junior data scientists and provide guidance for growth.
• Develop, implement, and manage end-to-end ML pipelines with robust data quality and system stability.
