Job summary

Hertz Revenue Management in Atlanta, GA seeks a Sr. Data Scientist to design, deliver, and maintain optimization products that improve customer offers and increase revenue.

You will collaborate with Revenue Management, Pricing, Sales, Product, IT and vendors to identify opportunities, define requirements, and implement end-to-end solutions. The role requires a Master’s in a quantitative field and 2–5 years of modeling or operations research experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in quantitative field required.
• 2–5 years of industry experience in modeling, data science or operations research required.
• Proficient communication skills to advocate for Revenue Management solutions across the enterprise.

Responsibilities

• Identify commercial opportunities to optimize Hertz revenue using data sources, methods, tools and models.
• Enhance analytical tools and develop new solutions from large data sets.
• Own and deliver end-to-end solutions, coordinating with IT and stakeholders.
• Promote long-term customer vision supporting Hertz’s business strategy.
• Develop close relationships with business units to ensure timely project execution.
• Maintain awareness of industry efforts and champion innovative solutions.
• Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Understand interrelationships between Fleet, Pricing, and Revenue Management for customer experience.
• Developing the Data Analytics Team.
• Other duties as assigned.
