Job summary

Centric Consulting, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist for a remote role. You will analyze large datasets, build predictive models, and translate business needs into analytics.

You’ll collaborate with data engineers and analysts to deliver scalable solutions and communicate insights to diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data science, strong Python/SQL skills, and experience with ML, visualization tools, and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Python and SQL.
• Hands-on experience with machine learning, predictive modeling, statistical analysis, and data visualization.
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Familiarity with cloud-based data and analytics platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with tools and libraries such as Pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large, complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Develop and deploy predictive models and machine learning solutions.
• Use statistical techniques to solve business problems and support data-driven decisions.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
• Build data visualizations and clearly communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Perform data preparation, feature engineering, model validation, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions.
