CTG, a Cegeka company, seeks a Senior Data Scientist for a remote, 6‑month engagement with a client. You will analyze large data sets, build ML models, and translate insights into practical business actions.

You will collaborate with senior data scientists and business partners, ensure production-ready processes, and mentor junior teammates while adhering to risk and regulatory standards. Excellent English required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years in data science or related field; or 9+ years experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years in data science, statistics, econometrics, or quantitative analysis.
• Experience with large, complex data sets and data ETL using SQL and Python.
• Proficiency in statistics, hypothesis testing, model validation, and bias analysis.
• Intermediate SQL and NoSQL; experience in on‑prem and cloud environments.
• Modeling with Bayesian methods, clustering, classification, neural networks, and multivariate stats.
• Data visualization with Tableau and Power BI; experience with Alteryx.

Responsabilités

• Analyze large data sets to solve business problems using ML and econometric techniques.
• Ingest, clean, and prepare data supporting scalable data processes.
• Develop models including classification, clustering, and predictive modeling.
• Refine models via champion/challenger approaches and productionize models.
• Create model outputs and visualizations to communicate results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with senior data scientists and business partners on research approaches.
• Review code for accuracy, efficiency, and best practices; mentor juniors.
• Engage in stakeholder discussions about results, opportunities, and production challenges.
• Identify risk-related issues and adhere to risk, regulatory, audit, and internal controls.
