Job summary

Feedzai is seeking a data science professional to support our Customer Success team in delivering risk prevention solutions to clients. You will understand client data, clean and preprocess it, and iteratively build features and models using Python, Java/Scala, and big data tools.

You will communicate findings to stakeholders and collaborate across product, research, and client teams. You will bring a strong foundation in ML, data preprocessing, and big data (Spark/Hadoop), plus excellent

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in a relevant STEM field.
• Strong foundation in machine learning and model development.
• Experience with big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
• Proficient in Python and at least one of Java or Scala.
• Experience in data cleaning and feature engineering.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Customer-facing experience is a plus.
• Fraud and digital finance domain knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand client data and its source systems.
• Clean and validate incoming data.
• Preprocess data using shell scripts and Python/Java/Scala.
• Iteratively compute features and tune model parameters.
• Communicate findings to project manager and support decision making.
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, risk managers from clients.
• Work with Product and Research to improve processes and tooling.
