Job summary

IV.AI is seeking a senior data scientist to act as the technical backbone for the data science team, bringing rigorous statistics and machine learning expertise to production-grade data pipelines on GCP.

You will mentor data scientists across experience levels and help evolve from notebook-based exploration to centralized, production workflows while collaborating with the DS team's manager on technical direction.

Qualifications

• 6-8+ years of professional data science experience with strong statistics and ML foundations.
• 2-3 years of hands-on production/deployment experience.
• Experience moving notebooks to scheduled, reliable production pipelines.
• Strong Python skills across the full DS workflow.
• Experience mentoring or leading junior data scientists.
• Thrived in startup or small-team environments building structure from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Own technical quality for models, metrics, and analyses across the team.
• Define standards for code review, reproducibility, and production readiness.
• Stay current with modern ML and agentic workflow techniques.
• Contribute hands-on analyses and models in production-grade workflows.
• Design and implement production data pipelines on GCP.
