Job summary

Amgen, a leading biopharma company, is seeking a Senior Data Scientist - Process Modeling to join the Digital Process and Systems Analysis group within Process Development. You will provide data infrastructure, platforms, and analytics to support engineering teams across our network for insights that drive innovation and efficiency in the pipeline.

You will help digitize workflows for biologics and synthetic moieties, develop modeling tools and data pipelines, and lead open-ended problem solving

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent in data science/engineering field.
• Strong data science or engineering experience required.
• Leadership and communication skills with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Leverage tech-transfer and process-modeling knowledge to drive digital technologies.
• Digital product ownership of tech-transfer digital applications and expansion of digital process-modeling.
• Change management to integrate tech transfer digital applications into product teams.
• Development of data products to enable FAIR data for tech transfer/NPI.
• Enable AI agentic workflows for DST modeling assets.
• Collaborate with digital product teams to build and integrate modeling assets into DST processes.
• Interact cross-functionally with engineers to identify opportunities for process design improvements.
• Make business recommendations to stakeholders with clear presentation of findings.
• Contribute to establishing a robust data science strategy across monitoring, data engineering, and analytics plans.
