Job summary

Talent Connect Protocol is seeking a Senior Data Scientist in Austin to establish and own the company’s predictive analytics capability. You will work directly with the CTO and executive leadership to turn large-scale financial and customer data into predictive models that drive strategic decisions.

You will build and validate models across churn, profitability, financial health, and forecasting while managing the full DS lifecycle from feature engineering to deployment and monitoring.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, predictive analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning and forecasting.
• Strong statistical foundation with experience working with large-scale datasets and building models that produce measurable business outcomes.
• Experience with AWS and production ML environments; experience with Redshift, SageMaker, Airflow, or financial services data is highly preferred.

TCP is partnered with a growing financial technology company to hire a Senior Data Scientist who will establish and own the organization's predictive analytics capability. This individual will be working directly with the CTO and executive leadership to turn large-scale financial and customer data into predictive models that drive real business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and validate predictive models across churn, profitability, financial health, forecasting, and customer behavior.
• Own the data science lifecycle from problem definition and feature engineering through model validation, deployment, monitoring, and communicating insights to leadership.

What We're Looking For

• Strong expertise in Python, SQL, predictive analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, and forecasting.
• Strong statistical foundation with experience working with large-scale datasets and building models that produce measurable business outcomes.
• Experience with AWS and production ML environments; experience with Amazon Redshift, SageMaker, Airflow, or financial services data is highly preferred.
