Job summary

People Inc. seeks a Senior Data Scientist to own the recommendation models powering personalized feeds. You’ll work from user signals and live catalogs to design, build, and evaluate models, with full ownership of the model layer in a production ML stack.

You’ll lead offline and online experiments, build features from signals and catalog attributes, and ship models to production within an MLOps framework, iterating as data grows.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in CS/Statistics/ML.
• Strong foundation in statistics, experimentation, and evaluation.
• Proven experience designing and deploying ML models to production.

Responsibilities

• 35%: design and develop core recommendation models.
• 25%: define and run offline/online experiments with proper design.
• 20%: turn signals and catalog attributes into features.
• 20%: take models into production, monitor, and iterate.
