Job summary
MGM Resorts International is seeking a Sr Data Scientist for Commercial Analytics to drive personalization initiatives across casino, hospitality, and entertainment segments in Las Vegas. This hands-on role develops and deploys AI/ML models, orchestrates next-best-action strategies, and collaborates with Marketing, Loyalty, and Engineering teams.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's and 5+ years of relevant experience, with MS/PhD preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of relevant data science experience.
- Experience with agile/sprint-based approaches.
- Hospitality/retail/customer-service industry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to multiple complex data science projects with minimal supervision.
- Develop and deploy AI/ML models and orchestrate actions.
- Enhance personalization and commercial strategies with analytics.
- Build predictive/statistical models and monitor performance.
- Peer-review code and data pipelines; run unit tests.
- Collaborate with analysts and engineers on data requirements.
- Create audience-focused analyses and present insights to stakeholders.
- Develop and evaluate an A/B test framework to improve KPIs.
