Kard Financial, Inc. is hiring a Senior Data Scientist for its card-linked offers platform. You will build and deploy ML and experimentation systems to improve offer discovery, engagement, and ROI for partners.

Work spans personalization, ranking, and causal inference across data from transactions, merchants, and users. You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Sales to turn behavioral data into production-grade models, train pipelines, and actionable insights.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of data science experience, with production ML background.
• Strong background in recommendations, ranking, or personalization.
• Solid statistics and experimentation knowledge, including A/B testing.
• Experience with causal inference on observational data.
• Proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn, PyTorch/XGBoost) and SQL, with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship ML models for offer personalization, ranking, and targeting using transaction, merchant, and user data.
• Develop features and training pipelines on large-scale event and transaction datasets.
• Design and analyze A/B tests and incrementality experiments to measure impact.
• Apply causal inference methods to quantify partner ROI and user behavior changes.
• Partner with ML and Data Engineers to productionize models, including feature stores and real-time scoring.
• Improve ranking/recommendation systems to optimize engagement, conversion, and retention.
• Contribute to attribution and measurement systems for incremental value understanding.
• Translate modeling outputs into actionable insights for internal teams and partners.
• Own projects end-to-end from problem framing to post-launch evaluation.
• Help define best practices for experimentation and data quality across the team.
