Accenture Flex is hiring a Data Scientist to apply innovative statistical and machine learning methods to large, complex enterprise data. Work involves analyzing data across functions such as inventory, supply chain, marketing, and cybersecurity, driving data-driven business decisions.

You will join a diverse, skilled network within Accenture, contribute to thought leadership, and help transform client operations with advanced analytics and AI capabilities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, data analysis, data mining, or other similar business functions.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in at least one focus area of data science: statistics, operations research, design and analysis of experiments, machine learning, or quantitative analysis.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data mining skills with ability to leverage distributed processing to scale to big data.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with at least one data science analytics programming language like Python, R, or Scala.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Applying scientific methods to solve real world business problems using data.
• Utilizing cutting edge statistical and machine learning methods to dig deep into complex data to deliver data driven solutions across all areas of the business including inventory optimization supply chain marketing healthcare cybersecurity, etc.
• Employing broad and deep knowledge of statistics analytics and machine learning to contribute to and enhance Best Buys core data science capabilities.
• Mining large structured and unstructured data appropriately to glean actionable insights and to make recommendations on how the data can be used to help solve straightforward business problems.
• Collaborating with other teams to implement and deploy scalable solutions.
