Job summary

Accenture Flex seeks a Data Scientist to apply advanced statistical and machine learning methods on diverse, large-scale data. You will drive analytic thought leadership, extract actionable insights, and collaborate across teams to deploy scalable data solutions.

The role is 100% onsite at the client location in Minneapolis, MN, with a focus on transforming business processes and customer experiences through data science and analytics.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, data analysis, data mining, or other similar business functions
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in at least one data science focus area: statistics, operations research, design and analysis of experiments, machine learning, or quantitative analysis
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in data mining skills with ability to leverage distributed processing to scale to big data
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with at least one data science analytics programming language like Python, R, or Scala
• High School Diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Applying scientific methods to solve real world business problems using data
• Utilizing cutting edge statistical and machine learning methods to dig deep into complex data to deliver data driven solutions across all areas of the business including inventory optimization supply chain marketing healthcare cybersecurity, etc.
• Employing broad and deep knowledge of statistics analytics and machine learning to contribute to and enhance core data science capabilities
• Mining large structured and unstructured data appropriately to glean actionable insights and to make recommendations on how the data can be used to help solve straightforward business problems
• Collaborating with other teams to implement and deploy scalable solutions
