Job summary

Clarity Innovations is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support a U.S. Special Operations Command program at MacDill AFB.

You will gather and derive insights from complex data, drive digital transformation, and assist with development initiatives to improve mission readiness and data-driven decision making. The role requires deep data science expertise, experience with ML projects on cloud-native platforms, and the ability to communicate complex results to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 6 years of hands-on Data Science experience.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field is required.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Python, R, etc.)
• Demonstrated experience applying data science methods to real-world data problems.
• Proficiency in Agile Development and GIT Operations
• A Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a data pipeline.
• Interpret and analyze complex data sets and plan ML projects with cloud-native platforms.
• Coordinate research and analytic activities utilizing various data points and programmatic data processing.
• Coordinate with Data Engineers to build Data environments providing data identified by other data professionals.
• Apply statistics and algorithms to discover relevant problems, hypotheses, and opportunities.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive modeling, NLP, RPA, text mining and clustering.
