Job summary

Clarity Innovations, LLC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to support SOCNORTH at Peterson SFB in Colorado. The role focuses on extracting insights from complex data, coordinating analytic and development efforts, and applying advanced statistical methods to support mission readiness.

You will work on on-site teams, coordinate analytic programs, and develop predictive models, NLP, RPA, and data engineering workflows using Spark, Hadoop, Databricks, and Snowflake.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of hands-on Data Science experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM field is required.
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages (Java, C++, Python, R, etc.). Proficiency with Agile Development and Git operations.
• Top Secret Clearance with SCI Eligibility.
• Ability to work on-site in secure spaces.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze data using exploratory mathematical and statistical techniques grounded in the scientific method.
• Coordinate research and analytic activities using structured and unstructured data, and use programming to clean, transform, and organize datasets.
• Run experiments with selected data points, produce findings based on results, and develop solutions for command data challenges.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to build data environments that provide datasets identified by other data professionals.
• Apply and develop scientific methodology, statistics, and algorithms to define problems, formulate hypotheses, and identify opportunities.
• Develop predictive and prescriptive models, including NLP, RPA, text mining and processing, clustering, forecasting, and related advanced techniques.
• Design and automate data processes for manipulation and analysis, including managing and integrating data across dissimilar sources and analyzing large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Use large-scale processing frameworks such as Spark and Hadoop, and create visualizations using Tableau, Power BI, and R Shiny.
• Research, design, and implement algorithms to address complex problems, coding in R, Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas), or similar languages.
• Perform data engineering, data processing, and modeling using cloud-based data management and data science/ML platforms including Databricks, IBM Cloud Pak, Cloudera, and Snowflake.
• Communicate complex concepts and hypotheses to non-technical audiences through digital storytelling.
