Job summary

FS Poly seeks a Senior Data Scientist / MLOps Engineer for a hybrid role in Annapolis Junction, MD, offering a compensation range of $170k–$260k and a strong benefits package. You will lead analytics, develop descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive models, and drive production deployment.

Requirements include advanced degrees or 14+ years experience in lieu of a degree, expertise in MLOps, and leadership of data science teams. TS/SCI with FS Polygraph is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD with required years.
• Experience in MLOps and data science.
• Ability to lead a team of data scientists.
• Strong proficiency in model evaluation metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead analytic efforts for mission-critical systems.
• Translate qualitative goals into quantitative prototypes.
• Oversee the full analytic lifecycle from feature development to production.
• Guide transition of analytics into automated production solutions.
