Job summary

The Intersect Group is seeking a Data Scientist / Machine Learning Scientist in Atlanta to join a centralized AI team. Hybrid work, collaboration with product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders to deploy predictive analytics across multiple business units.

You will develop, deploy, and refine ML models, perform EDA, and communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences while staying current with AI trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in CS, Statistics, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience deploying, monitoring, and maintaining ML models in production.
• Strong programming skills in Python; experience with Scala is a plus.
• Advanced SQL skills and working with large-scale structured and unstructured data.
• Hands-on with PySpark, Spark, and distributed data processing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business leaders to identify data science opportunities.
• Design, develop, deploy, and monitor ML models addressing complex challenges.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover insights and assess data quality.
• Build predictive, classification, clustering, and optimization models.
