Job summary

MatchPoint in the United States is seeking a senior data scientist to design and implement cutting-edge data models and ML solutions that inform business decisions.

You will collaborate with data engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end analytics projects, applying ML frameworks, SQL, Python, and visualization tools to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related fields.
• 5+ years of experience in data science or related fields.
• Strong expertise in machine learning & deep learning frameworks like scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Very good proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark for data science and ML.
• Statistics & Math: Strong foundation in probability, statistical analysis, and optimization techniques.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy advanced data models and algorithms to drive business decisions.
• Develop and deploy predictive models using ML frameworks to forecast business outcomes.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations, and interpret findings to inform business decisions.
• Develop and maintain highquality, maintainable code using object-oriented programming principles, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain data visualizations and dashboards to communicate insights and findings to business stakeholders using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js or others depending on the requirement of the customer.
