Job summary

Falls Technology is seeking a on-site Data Engineer/Scientist in McLean, VA to build production data pipelines and AI/ML analytics on a large data-lake platform for a federal mission. You will develop web applications and production pipelines, and automate AWS deployment, including GPU workloads.

Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required. The role includes mentoring junior staff and writing security and accreditation documentation to support mission-critical operations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
• Must have experience with Elasticsearch, Neo4j and Kibana.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Trino and Apache Hive.
• Experience with AWS automation and deployment.
• Experience handling GPU workloads.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and provide guidance on projects.

Responsibilities

• Build production data pipelines and web applications on a large data-lake platform.
• Develop AI/ML analytics using Elasticsearch, Neo4j, Trino and Hive.
• Automate AWS deployment and resource management, including GPU workloads.
• Mentor junior data scientists and engineers.
